To perform hot air balloon science project you will have to follow few simple steps. All you will need is tissue paper, cellophane,
modeling clay, glue, tape, hair dryer and sewing thread. Take a tissue paper and cut it into eight leaf-shaped sections (each 12 inches long). Now fold each of these leaf-shaped sections in half. Glue these sections with each other to form a balloon shape.
Take a thread and cut four pieces out of it (each 12 inches long). Attach these threads to the bottom of balloon at equal distances from each other. The other ends of these threads can be secured to the table with the help of clay. An adult supervision is required while children are using the hair dryer. Set your hair dryer to low speed and then place its nozzle into the hole of the balloon. Turn on the dryer and fill the balloon with hot air. You will see that the balloon will rise up.
