Science experiments are the best means to explain science to the kids in an interesting manner. These science experiments help a child to develop his creativity, innovative ideas and proper understanding of science at a very early age. In today’s world of technology and innovation it has become very essential for the kids to understand and appreciate the significance of science in our daily life.
Rain in the Room Science experiment :
While performing these science experiments kids should always make it sure to follow the instructions properly and use appropriate safety equipments such as safety goggles, cloak, gloves, etc. One of the most significant science experiments is the Rain in the Room science experiment. In this article we will discuss about this science experiment.
To perform this Rain in the Room science experiment all you will need is a magnifying glass. Remember this science experiment can be performed in rainy season only. You will see that when it rains the inside of the windowpane in our house becomes translucent. When you observe the windowpane with a magnifying glass, you will be able to see very tiny drops of water on it. The reason behind such an occurrence is such that when it rains, the air that is present outside becomes cool suddenly.
The cooling of the air is caused due to the evaporation process in which the water uses up all the heat to evaporate. The air in our house is usually warmer than the air outside and when this warmer air comes in contact with the windowpane it cools down. This cool air is no longer able to hold on moisture due to which it loses the moisture on the windowpane.
You might have noticed that this Rain in the Room science experiment is very simple to conduct and does not require anything at all except the magnifying glass. Children can perform this science experiment at their home when it rains and find it pretty amazing.
