You can now pull these threads through the pot and then put some compost in the pot. Now wind the thread on and around the compost and add some more compost over it. Put the plant in the pot and place the threads over the top of pot. Put some more soil and wind the threads until no thread remains above upper layer of soil. Put this pot on small saucer and then add water in the large tray. Immediately you will see that the threads will draw the water into the pot. All you have to do is replace the water on weekly basis.
